Merit Badge Information

We will be offering to certify scouts for their Merit Badges again this year. This is available only by pre-registration in advance so we can know how many children will be trying out for badges. Pre-register in advance so you are ensured a spot. There will be specific times that the testing will be conducted out on snow at 11:00 & 1:00. That will give the children an opportunity to have group lessons at 10am & 12 noon as a refresher if they choose, and then move into the test, if they're ready.

Just a reminder The Merit Badge is a type of 'test'. We put them through a series of maneuvers and questions to show they have the skill and knowledge needed to achieve the badge as indicated in their merit book. Anyone just starting out in the sport will not be able to be ready to test for the badge. They will require more time & experience in the sport to do so. Scout Day is an opportunity for the scouts to gain more experience, take a lesson, and enjoy the great outdoors. Those who are ready can pre-register and test and those just starting out can have fun for the day at a great price!
