At The Hidden Valley Club, we offer skiing and snowboarding in a family-oriented environment with an emphasis on fun and learning. Leave New York City and arrive at The Hidden Valley Club in about one hour. Leave your town in northern NJ, Rockland or Westchester and arrive much sooner, typically within 40 minutes.

The Hidden Valley Club is perhaps the most accommodating and "kid friendly" destination to enjoy skiing and snowboarding on the East Coast. Whether you ski together or let the kids learn to ski while you relax and unwind, you will rest easy because all the trails lead to a single base area. Our ski patrol is also trained to encourage and help younger skiers.

When you're ready for a few more runs, you'll enjoy the variety of trails from easy cruising to challenging drops, the routinely great conditions from our excellent snow and terrain management system. History

Founded as a private ski area in 1975 by the same visionary who founded and developed the Great Gorge Ski Resort (now Mountain Creek), Hidden Valley has been the destination of choice for skiers, young and old, and who wished to avoid the crowds, long lift lines and the unruly behavior that characterizes many of the more popular ski areas.
Among its many success stories, Hidden Valley served as the home ski area for Olympic Moguls Champion Donna Weinbrecht, was the favorite racing venue for the Women's Pro Ski Tour, hosted the 1st Regional Snowboarding Championship and produced numerous state and Division 1 College racing champions and US Ski Team aspirants.

The Hidden Valley Racing Program is recognized as one of the longest and most successful programs on the East Coast producing top ten ski racers on a regular basis, with many HVC racers going on to prestigious New England racing academies.

As time went on the resort was met with financial challenges, and subsequently neglected. As regulatory changes and other restrictions made it difficult to perform certain expansions, it became more difficult to make improvements. In October of 2007 a group of long time Hidden Valley skier families wanted to see the resort revitalized, they knew something had to be done to assure the future of their special place. They successfully acquired the resort and are in the early stages of making their vision become a reality. It has always been a special place for their families to enjoy winter sports with friends and other families. They realized that the best alternative to combat the restrictions and other improvement challenges was to return the resort back to its early days of being a special Club for Families to participate in. With a committed group of Club Members, solid management and hard work, The Hidden Valley Club is on its way to being the place where generations of families will continue to make memories that will stand the test of time.
